Kwibuka 32: Remember - Unite - Renew
Today, April 7th, 2026, marks the 32nd commemoration of the Genocide against the Tutsi. As the nation begins 100 days of remembrance, Initiative Tech Solutions (ITS) Ltd joins all Rwandans and the global community in honoring the memory of the lives lost, supporting survivors, and celebrating the incredible resilience that has defined our reconstruction.
Kwibuka—to remember—is not just an act of looking back; it is a vital foundation for looking forward. It is through remembering our history that we safeguard our future. This year, under the theme of Remember - Unite - Renew, we pause to reflect on how far we have come and the collective responsibility we share to ensure that "Never Again" remains a living reality.
We remember the more than one million lives taken in 1994. Each was a person with dreams, a family, and a future that was unjustly cut short. By keeping their memory alive, we preserve their humanity and ensure that the world never forgets the consequences of hatred and division. At ITS Ltd, we observe this period with the utmost respect, encouraging our team and partners to visit memorials and engage in acts of remembrance.
The miracle of modern Rwanda is built on a foundation of unity and reconciliation. Over the past 32 years, Rwandans have made the courageous choice to heal and build a single national identity. This unity is the primary engine behind our economic growth and social stability. In the tech sector, this spirit of collaboration is what allows us to innovate and compete globally, proving that what unites us is far stronger than anything that could divide us.
"Our resilience as a nation is not just about surviving; it is about thriving through unity. As we commemorate Kwibuka 32, we at ITS Ltd reaffirm our dedication to building systems that empower every Rwandan, ensuring our digital future is as inclusive as it is innovative."
